Osama Saadeh, obtained the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology, Jordan, in 2004, the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering in 2007, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering in 2011 both from the University of Arkansas, USA. Dr. Saadeh has been with the Department of Electrical Engineering at Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) since 2011 and has accepted a position at the Energy Engineering Department at the German Jordan University starting October 2017.
Dr. Saadeh was the Director of the Energy Center at JUST from 9/2014 – 9/2016. His responsibilities included managing and directing energy policy and research at the university.
His area of research is power electronics with emphasis on modeling and simulation, power semiconductor devices, wide band gap power electronics, application of power electronics in power systems, renewable energy interfaces, and power system protection and quality. Dr. Saadeh is a professional engineer in Jordan, a member of IEEE and Eta Kappa Nu.
